One day after the transplant in 2017 — when Ayesha and Naima met for the first time. A moment that changed everything

This photo captures the heart of our journey—the moment Ayesha received the life-saving gift of a new kidney from her sister, Naima. This experience led to the creation of Voices for Kidney Patients, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting kidney patients, especially in underserved and rural communities where access to health information and organ donation awareness is limited
