Interviewing Ms. Saiqa Asif on dialysis in the district of Gujar Khan city, Pakistan. The dialysis center in Gujar Khan city is the only kidney care dialysis center established by Mr. Raja Saeed. Ms. Saiqa Asif is a highly qualified student and holds a master's degree. She started dialysis about a year ago; her kidneys failed due to high blood pressure, leaving her untreated and damaging her kidneys. Ms. Saiqa is on dialysis 2 times a week. She is blessed to have her father willing to donate a kidney to her but due to a lack of knowledge on kidney transplant procedures and protocols, and also being a privileged recipient, she has no resources. Ms. Saiqa's message through “Voices of Kidney Patients” asked for a Nephrologist in her city. Currently, there is no nephrologist available in the town of Gujjar khan and in its surrounding villages. Dialysis Patients like Ms. Saiqa have to travel 53 Kilometers/ 32 meters to see a nephrologist. Traveling puts lots of stress on dialysis patients' health including the cost of distance is an extra burden on these patients.
